Stephanie Griffiths

Steph is an experienced and dedicated Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse who, in a stroke of good fortune for Wingham & Valley Vets, decided to move to the area from Sydney and thus joined our team in 2024.

After graduating in 2020, Steph gained a wealth of experience from her time working at a busy Veterinary Hospital in Sydney, where she learned high standards of surgical nursing, including nursing Orthopaedic Surgery patients undergoing TPLO procedures. Steph’s experience, dedication and overt love for her patients makes her a wonderful asset to any nursing team.

Steph loves continuing education and she looks forward to learning more every year. A commitment to continuing education is one of the core values which helps to drive high standards of care at Wingham & Valley Vets. Steph says “My passion within this field is client communication and working alongside great people who have the same goals of helping animals. I enjoy giving pets a positive experience when they have to stay in hospital or come for a visit.”

Steph also has an interest in large animals and she is keen to learn more about medical and surgical nursing of horses and cattle. At home, Steph is very fortunate to have three beautiful pets - a sweet dog, a Mama's boy cat, and a sassy sheep.
