Robyn joined the Wingham & Valley Vets team in early 2012 and from day one was an excellent addition to the nursing staff, displaying dedication, efficiency and initiative at every opportunity.
Robyn completed her Certificate 2 in Animal Studies in 2012 and her Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing in November 2013. Since then, Robyn has endeavoured to maintain standards and procedures within the Hospital and her commitment and dedication have helped to make the Practice what it is today. We value Robyn’s contribution immensely and she is a much-valued member of our nursing team.
Robyn is a very experienced clinical nurse with a passion for patient and client care. She also possesses considerable administration skills, helping to manage the hospital inventory and ensuring equipment is properly maintained, which makes her an integral part of our team. In addition to this, Robyn regularly comes in afterhours, at all hours of the day and night to assist our Veterinarians with Emergency cases and surgeries, for which we and our clients are very grateful. The Practice is very fortunate to have experienced Nurses like Robyn, who will sacrifice their sleep and personal time to assist our patients when they most need it.
Robyn balances nursing at Wingham & Valley Vets with raising her beautiful children with her husband on a local dairy farm, where she also has a much-loved cat, working dogs and horses. Robyn’s rapport with horses and her considerable skill with equine husbandry and nursing are wonderful assets to the Practice.
Her favourite part of the job is working with the large animals. “I also enjoy engaging with our lovely clients and supportive and knowledgeable colleagues”
