Hannah grew up locally on a dairy farm, which instilled in her a love of animals – especially cows! Hannah’s caring and gentle nature is ideally suited to her work as a Veterinary Nurse.
After working as a beautician for four years, Hannah joined Wingham & Valley Vets in 2010 undertaking a voluntary work placement in order to gain her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Once she achieved this, Hannah became a permanent member of staff and has been a much-valued member of our nursing team ever since.
Hannah is an experienced Surgical Nurse, who shows skill and dedication in all areas of Veterinary Nursing. Hannah displays considerable aptitude for delicate nursing tasking such as venipuncture and blood collection and she expertly monitors our anaesthetics, ensuring patient safety is paramount.
Hannah enjoys soccer, gardening and walking, and lives on a farm with her husband and her three beautiful boys.
Hannah has worked part-time with the Practice for 14 years and she will soon be taking a break from regular Veterinary Nursing to pursue a change of career as a TAFE teaching assistant. We will miss seeing Hannah every week, but we are thrilled she will still be working with us casually and on some Saturday mornings.
