Health checks and vaccinations for puppies and kittens are very important for early
detection of health conditions, and to build their confidence in a veterinary
environment, promoting fear-free veterinary care. At Wingham and Valley Vets, our
dedicated team provide thorough assessments and customised vaccination and
preventative health plans for your pet.
The vaccination consultation will focus on building your puppy or kitten’s confidence through interactive assessments, positive reinforcement and distraction techniques with
delicious treats! For kittens, we have dedicated cat consultation rooms equipped with calming Feliway pheromone diffusers and sprays.
We want your puppy or kitten to have a positive experience during their first visits to the vet. They are at a critical age for learning, and positive experiences boost their confidence and calmness as they navigate their way through the world.
We encourage these visits to be the start of a lifelong relationship with our clinic. During the vaccination appointments, our friendly staff will address questions regarding behaviour, health, diet and desexing planning. We will provide a detailed health schedule.
