Bec completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with us in 2017 as a work placement student and we were so impressed with Bec’s lovely personality and commitment to her patients that we just couldn’t let her go and we made her a permanent part of our nursing team as of 2018.
Prior to working with us, Bec has been employed as an aged carer at the Mayo, a role that suited her caring and compassionate nature and it is these attributes that also make her such a wonderful a Vet Nurse. Bec is an incredibly empathetic and caring team-member who is always looking out for the welfare of her patients and the other staff. Bec’s warmth and kindness make our Veterinary Hospital a wonderful place to work and we truly value the role she plays in our team.
Bec is an all-rounder with many diverse skills, and she employs them to great effect as both a Clinical Nurse and a Receptionist. Bec’s experience and empathy are greatly appreciated by our clients and she thrives on helping people. Bec recently attended the Vet Expo in Sydney 2024 where she attended many valuable seminars on Reception & Customer Service.
Bec has two beautiful daughters and a gorgeous cattle dog named Indi. She loves the great outdoors and is always camping with her daughters or heading off to local music festivals.
Bec says “What I love most about the clinic, apart from the wide variety of animals that we get to see, is all the wonderful people I get to work with! Also, that you are constantly learning in this job (it's never boring). We are always training to keep up to date with the latest and best practices and equipment”
