Wingham and Valley Vets is based in Wingham in the beautiful Manning Valley of NSW. The hospital is approximately twelve kilometres west of Taree. We have been providing quality veterinary medicine and surgery for all species of animals in Wingham and its outlying districts for over 20 years.
Our practice has a strong emphasis on continuing education. This is an integral part of our aim to provide exceptional medicine in a welcoming and caring environment. We regularly host final year veterinary students from the University of Sydney, which is our contribution to the ongoing education of our future Veterinarians and we consider it to be extremely beneficial to the practice as we are always keeping up to date with the most advanced and effective treatments.
All staff at Wingham & Valley Vets undergo fear-free accreditation which helps Veterinarians and Nurses deliver better care for their patients by not only looking after their physical wellbeing, but also their emotional wellbeing. Fear-free handling of patients is an essential part of our practice philosophy as it minimises stress and anxiety for pets and helps to avoid the development of negative associations with the Veterinary hospital, and people in general.
The philosophy of the practice and its staff is to always strive for best practice Veterinary Medicine, because we know that for the vast majority of our clients, their pets are also their family. There are many factors that contribute to our standards of care and these include:
