Most of her time was spent with the Animal Behaviour stream where international speakers presented the latest research in this field</p>
<p>Pete attended an Equine Ultrasound Workshop in April at Agnes Banks Equine Hospital. World renowned equine diagnostician Jean-Marie Denoix presented this excellent course to a small number of vets from around Australia and internationally. Our new equine facility is well suited to ultrasonographic examinations, particularly of the lower limbs, to assist lameness diagnosis.</p>
<p>Nat and Donna attended a workshop on "The Ultimate Veterinary Receptionist" in Newcastle, and picked up a few handy tips to providing an even better service.</p>

<p>Common signs include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Bad Breath</li>                                                     
<li>Dribbling </li>
<li>Pawing or rubbing their mouth</li>
<li>Loose teeth</li>
<li>Sore mouth and difficulty eating</li>
<li>Yellow or brown tartar on their teeth</li>
<li>Bleeding mouths</li>
</ul>
<p>Annual dental examinations and treatment if required will help to prevent these problems from occurring.</p>

<p>Please let our veterinarian know at vaccination time if your dog/cat has any of these signs. Receive a 10% discount on a dental if booked at the time of vaccination!</p>
