Peta Amos has been employed as a part time nurse/receptionist since 1995. She successfully completed her Certificate in Veterinary Nursing in 1999 and also has a Certificate IV in Behavioural Training through the Delta Society. She has a strong intererst in dog behaviour but her career path has changed recently with the purchase of a grooming business called "Clipper Art". She continues to work on Fridays at the Valley Veterinary Hospital as a receptionist and is available every Thursday and every second Wednesday at the hospital for dog and cat grooming.
Peta is married with three daughters, Eloise, Brogan and Lara and a six year-old granddaughter Annabelle. Having recently lost her aged dogs Arrow and Cheyenne in quick succession, she now lives with Dylan, a most gorgeous Border Collie and several much loved cats. She enjoys spending her leisure time gardening and listening to music on her wide verandah overlooking her 40 acre property at Wherrol Flat.
